77. Advisory, Supervisory and Autonomous Modes

System05 agents may operate in Advisory, Supervisory, or Autonomous modes.
In Advisory Mode, the agent may observe, analyze, explain, simulate, and recommend, but shall not execute consequential physical actions.
In Supervisory Mode, the agent may prepare actions, coordinate systems, and execute only after required human or system approval.
In Autonomous Mode, the agent may execute predefined actions within a verified operational envelope without case-by-case approval.
Mode assignment shall be capability-specific. An agent may operate autonomously for lighting schedules while remaining advisory for structural, electrical-isolation, or life-safety matters.
Mode transitions shall be:
- Authorized.
- Recorded.
- Time-bounded where appropriate.
- Sensitive to operational state.
- Reversible.
- Re-evaluated after material changes.
Loss of required sensors, communication, verification, permissions, or safety services shall cause the affected capability to move to a more restrictive mode.
