3. System05 AI Philosophy
Stable section ID: S05-CON-010-SECTION-4 · 13 content blocks
System05 shall be AI-native but shall not be AI-dependent during its initial implementation.
AI-native engineering means that System05 requirements, identities, interfaces, configurations, evidence, states, and lifecycle records shall be structured from the beginning so they can be interpreted consistently by authorized computational systems. It does not mean that an autonomous AI agent must control design, construction, or operation from the first implementation.
The System05 AI philosophy is based on the following principles:
- AI shall extend engineering capability rather than obscure engineering responsibility.
- AI outputs shall remain distinguishable from verified engineering decisions.
- Physical evidence and authoritative records shall take precedence over unsupported inference.
- AI authority shall be explicit, limited, revocable, and auditable.
- Greater autonomy shall require stronger evidence, validation, monitoring, and fail-safe controls.
- AI shall disclose material uncertainty, missing information, conflicts, and operational limitations.
- The platform shall remain functional when an AI agent is unavailable, disconnected, outdated, or withdrawn.
- Multiple qualified AI providers should be able to participate through open interfaces.
AI-generated decisions shall not silently override constitutional rules, certified configurations, or applicable codes.
System05 shall therefore support advanced intelligence while preserving deterministic engineering foundations, accountable human governance, and safe manual alternatives.
