27. Perception and Input Processing

Perception and Input Processing govern how an agent receives and interprets information from humans, documents, sensors, devices, images, building systems, digital services, and other agents.
Inputs may include:
- Human language.
- BDL files.
- BIOS records.
- Digital Twin events.
- Sensor measurements.
- Images and video.
- Component identifiers.
- Inspection results.
- Robotic telemetry.
- Compiler reports.
- Manufacturing data.
- External environmental information.
Every significant input should be evaluated for identity, source, timestamp, integrity, units, coordinate system, confidence, completeness, and operational relevance.
The agent shall distinguish between:
- Direct measurement.
- Human report.
- Imported record.
- AI interpretation.
- Derived calculation.
- Prediction.
- Unverified inference.
Conflicting or implausible inputs shall be flagged for reconciliation. Safety-critical actions shall not rely on a single uncertain input where independent confirmation is required.
