25. Agent Memory Architecture
Stable section ID: S05-CON-010-SECTION-26 · 22 content blocks
Agent Memory Architecture governs how information from previous interactions, observations, and actions is retained and reused.
Memory may be divided into:
- Working memory for the current task.
- Session memory for an active interaction.
- Operational memory for ongoing building functions.
- Lifecycle memory for persistent asset history.
- User preference memory.
- Procedural memory for approved workflows.
- Evidence memory for traceable decisions and actions.
Agent memory shall not replace authoritative System05 records. Approved configurations shall remain in the Building BIOS, physical observations in the Digital Twin or inspection records, component history in lifecycle registries, and formal engineering evidence in controlled evidence packages.
Memory shall be subject to:
- Access control.
- Data minimization.
- Retention rules.
- Versioning.
- Provenance.
- Correction.
- Deletion where legally and technically appropriate.
- Privacy protection.
- Transfer controls.
- Auditability.
The agent shall not convert an unverified inference into a persistent fact merely because it has appeared repeatedly in previous interactions.
