The Building Operations AI Agent may support risk-based inspection planning by combining component requirements, environmental exposure, operating history, detected anomalies, and lifecycle evidence.
Inspection planning may consider:
- Manufacturer intervals.
- Engineering Profile requirements.
- Component criticality.
- Age and usage.
- Environmental exposure.
- Sensor trends.
- Previous defects.
- Repairs and modifications.
- Hazard events.
- Accessibility.
- Consequences of failure.
- Required professional qualifications.
The agent may generate:
- Inspection priorities.
- Inspection schedules.
- Affected asset lists.
- Access instructions.
- Safety prerequisites.
- Required tools.
- Expected evidence.
- Acceptance criteria.
- Follow-up actions.
Sensor monitoring shall not eliminate required physical inspection unless an approved procedure explicitly allows it.
Inspection results shall be associated with the identities of the inspected components and incorporated into the Digital Twin, maintenance history, and applicable evidence records.
The agent shall distinguish between overdue inspection, failed inspection, incomplete inspection, and absence of an inspection requirement.
