58. Configuration Impact Awareness
Stable section ID: S05-CON-010-SECTION-59 · 30 content blocks
Before recommending or executing a change, the Building Operations AI Agent shall evaluate its potential effect on the wider building configuration.
Configuration impact analysis may consider:
- Structural load paths.
- Interface compatibility.
- Mechanical dependencies.
- Electrical capacity.
- Plumbing connections.
- Fire and life-safety coordination.
- Envelope continuity.
- Moisture behavior.
- Energy performance.
- Control logic.
- Digital identity.
- Sensor coverage.
- Maintenance access.
- Warranty status.
- Code and certification implications.
- Future replaceability.
The agent shall identify whether a proposed change is:
- Operational only.
- Temporary.
- Reversible.
- Configuration-affecting.
- Safety-relevant.
- BIOS-recordable.
- Subject to Compiler validation.
- Subject to engineering or regulatory approval.
- Material configuration changes shall be evaluated before physical execution and recorded after verification.
The Digital Twin may represent a proposed or observed change, but the Building BIOS shall not be updated to an approved configuration until the required validation and authorization are complete.
The agent shall warn when a local change may create a non-local consequence elsewhere in the building.
