32. Building AI Clone Model
Stable section ID: S05-CON-010-SECTION-33 · 24 content blocks
The Building AI Clone is the building-specific intelligence model through which the Building Operations AI Agent develops an operational understanding of a particular building.
The Building AI Clone may contain structured knowledge of:
- The approved building configuration.
- Installed Nodes, Cartridges, Interfaces, equipment, and systems.
- Spatial and functional relationships.
- Operational limits and control zones.
- Component capabilities and dependencies.
- Commissioning results.
- Historical operating patterns.
- Inspection and maintenance history.
- Known faults and repairs.
- Environmental behavior.
- Occupant-authorized preferences.
- Approved operational procedures.
- Emergency and recovery instructions.
The Building AI Clone shall not become an independent source of engineering truth. The Building BIOS shall remain authoritative for approved configuration, while the Digital Twin and verified inspection records shall remain authoritative for recorded physical observations within their defined scope.
The AI Clone may infer patterns, predict conditions, or recommend actions, but every inference shall remain distinguishable from:
- A verified configuration.
- A direct sensor measurement.
- A human observation.
- A certified test result.
- An approved engineering decision.
The Building AI Clone should progressively become more specific to the building while avoiding the normalization of unsafe, inefficient, or defective behavior. A condition shall not be accepted as normal merely because it has persisted for a long period.
Replacement of the underlying AI model or service provider shall not erase the building’s authoritative history. Building-specific records, approved preferences, operational procedures, and evidence shall remain transferable through controlled and vendor-neutral formats.
