82. Final Universal Interface Model

The Final Universal Interface Model consolidates the physical, functional, digital, lifecycle, and governance architecture established by this document.
Every System05 connection shall be represented as a controlled relationship among:
a host component;
a hosted or connected component;
one or more defined Interface Sides;
an Interaction Zone;
an Interface Contract;
a selected Interface Profile;
a Compatibility Class;
a verified configuration;
a lifecycle and state record.
Every System05 Cartridge shall be represented as:
a bounded physical assembly;
a uniquely identified digital asset;
a host-side interface;
one or more service-side interfaces;
a declared internal translation or functional layer;
controlled capabilities;
defined operating limits;
a state machine;
an evidence package;
a lifecycle plan.
The complete interaction process shall follow this model:
Define The interface geometry, functions, responsibilities, states, limits, and evidence requirements are established.
- Identify Every interface and Cartridge Type and Instance receives a persistent identity.
- Declare Each participating side publishes its capabilities, requirements, restrictions, and version.
- Discover Humans, digital systems, or robots locate and recognize the intended interfaces.
Verify Compatibility Physical, structural, electrical, fluid, thermal, digital, safety, regional, and lifecycle conditions are evaluated.
- Align and Engage Components move through the controlled approach, alignment, seating, and engagement sequence.
- Lock and Protect Retention, sealing, grounding, isolation, and required protective functions are completed.
- Commission The installed configuration is tested, negotiated, and authorized.
- Operate The interface and Cartridge function within their verified limits.
- Monitor and Maintain State, condition, faults, inspections, and maintenance are recorded.
Replace or Upgrade The shorter-life or outdated component is exchanged without unnecessary destruction of the host.
Disconnect Safely Loads, energy, fluids, commands, and stored hazards are controlled before release.
Reuse, Recover, or Retire The Cartridge is qualified for another lifecycle, refurbished, disassembled, recycled, or responsibly disposed of.
Evolve the Standard Evidence from design, manufacturing, operation, failure, maintenance, and research informs controlled interface evolution.
The Universal Interface Model is intended to preserve a stable external engineering language while permitting continuous internal innovation.
System05 therefore does not require every building component to be identical. It requires every compliant component to describe and perform its interactions through explicit, testable, traceable, and governable interfaces.
The constitutional objective is a built environment in which a component can be identified before installation, evaluated before connection, verified after engagement, monitored during operation, replaced when necessary, and understood throughout its complete lifecycle by humans, machines, and future engineering systems.
