68. Digital Twin Integration

The Digital Twin shall represent the actual installed Cartridge and its evolving relationship with the building.
For each Cartridge, the Digital Twin shall maintain:
identity;
type and configuration;
spatial position and orientation;
connected interfaces;
host relationship;
design capabilities;
negotiated operational limits;
current state;
inspection and maintenance condition;
relevant operational data;
faults and restrictions;
lifecycle events;
replacement and upgrade history.
The Digital Twin shall distinguish among:
As-Designed: intended configuration;
As-Manufactured: actual production configuration;
As-Installed: verified installed configuration;
As-Commissioned: tested operational configuration;
As-Operated: current operational state;
As-Maintained: condition following service;
As-Modified: approved changes;
As-Decommissioned: final condition.
Differences among these models shall generate reconciliation actions. An interface shown as connected in the design but absent from the verified building shall not be treated as physically present.
Physical changes shall update the Digital Twin through verified events. Digital-model edits shall not be assumed to represent physical changes without confirmation.
The Digital Twin may support simulation, predictive maintenance, capacity assessment, robotic planning, and AI services. Predictions shall remain distinguishable from measured conditions.
Coordinate systems used by CAD, site surveying, robotics, and component-local models shall be reconciled through traceable transformations.
