Interface & Cartridge Architecture

Interface Governance controls the creation, modification, approval, publication, maintenance, and retirement of System05 interface standards.

Governance shall protect:

safety;

technical coherence;

openness;

manufacturer neutrality;

backward compatibility;

regional adaptability;

lifecycle value;

evidence-based evolution.

The governance structure shall include responsibilities for:

constitutional consistency;

technical interface review;

structural and multi-domain safety;

digital architecture;

cybersecurity;

robotics;

regional adaptation;

testing and certification;

lifecycle and sustainability;

public documentation.

A proposed interface or revision shall progress through:

problem statement;

use-case definition;

stakeholder and dependency analysis;

preliminary architecture;

public or authorized technical proposal;

risk and failure analysis;

reference design;

prototype;

testing;

multi-manufacturer interoperability review;

regional applicability review;

draft specification;

controlled pilot;

approval;

publication;

continuing monitoring.

Every major decision shall record:

proposal;

technical rationale;

alternatives considered;

evidence;

risks;

affected components;

compatibility impact;

cost and manufacturing impact;

comments and objections;

Emergency changes may be issued where an existing interface creates a credible safety or security risk. Emergency changes shall identify immediate protective action, affected versions, temporary restrictions, and the schedule for full review.

Governance records shall remain publicly accessible to the extent permitted by security, privacy, legal, and proprietary constraints.
