76. Cartridge Marketplace
Stable section ID: S05-CON-005-SECTION-77 · 34 content blocks
The System05 Cartridge Marketplace shall provide a structured environment for discovering, comparing, selecting, procuring, supporting, and replacing compatible Cartridges.
Marketplace listing shall be connected to authoritative Registry information. A listing shall identify:
manufacturer;
Cartridge Type ID;
current version;
function and classification;
compatible interface families;
Compatibility Classes;
applicable Interface and Regional Profiles;
capacity and operating limits;
required host capabilities;
certification status;
supported regions;
installation requirements;
maintenance requirements;
expected service life;
software-support period;
warranty and support information;
price and availability where applicable;
known restrictions.
Search and comparison shall use engineering attributes rather than marketing categories alone. A user should be able to filter products by interface geometry, capacity, region, voltage, fluid class, environmental exposure, safety level, robotic readiness, certification, and lifecycle requirements.
The Marketplace shall distinguish among:
certified production products;
conditionally approved products;
prototypes;
experimental products;
refurbished products;
legacy adapters;
discontinued products;
withdrawn or recalled products.
Marketplace availability shall not itself constitute engineering approval for a specific building. Final selection shall require project-level compatibility verification.
User ratings shall not replace technical evidence. Installation quality, support, reliability, and service experience may be reported, but verified incidents and engineering evidence shall remain distinct from subjective reviews.
The Marketplace shall display deprecation, certification suspension, recall, and end-of-support notices prominently.
Manufacturers shall not be permitted to purchase or manipulate technical compatibility status. Sponsored visibility, if allowed, shall remain visibly separate from certification and engineering ranking.
