8. Future Robotic Evolution

System05 shall support gradual robotic evolution through controlled, capability-specific stages.
A possible progression may include:
- Manual construction using robot-ready components.
- Human construction supported by digital instructions.
- Mechanically assisted lifting and positioning.
- Robotic material handling under direct supervision.
- Collaborative robotic placement.
- Automated alignment and fastening within controlled workcells.
- Robotic inspection and evidence collection.
- Bounded robotic maintenance and component replacement.
- Coordinated multi-robot construction in qualified environments.
- Higher-autonomy lifecycle operations within certified limits.
Advancement from one stage to another shall require evidence appropriate to the increased capability, authority, environmental complexity, and consequence.
Future robotic evolution shall not require replacement of the primary structural platform whenever practical. Stable Nodes, Interface geometries, datum systems, access provisions, and digital identities should support new generations of robots, tools, sensors, and control software.
Each new robotic capability shall define:
- Intended tasks.
- Required building features.
- Operational Design Domain.
- Robot Capability Manifest.
- Required tools and end effectors.
- Authority limits.
- Safety Envelope.
- Human-supervision requirements.
- Verification evidence.
- Failure and recovery behavior.
- Compatibility requirements.
- Qualification and certification status.
Experimental capability shall remain distinguishable from qualified operational capability. Future readiness shall not be represented as present authorization.
