1. Purpose
This chapter establishes the constitutional architecture through which robots, automated equipment, machine tools, and future autonomous systems may interact with System05 buildings throughout their lifecycle.
The purpose is not to prescribe a single robot, manufacturer, construction method, or automation platform. It is to define the stable physical, digital, operational, and governance conditions that allow different robotic systems to work safely and interoperably with System05 Nodes, Cartridges, members, panels, utilities, tools, and building records.
This architecture shall support robotic participation in:
- Manufacturing.
- Component identification and handling.
- Transportation and site logistics.
- Positioning and alignment.
- Assembly and fastening.
- Inspection and quality control.
- Commissioning.
- Building operation.
- Maintenance and repair.
- Component replacement.
- Deconstruction.
- Material separation and recovery.
System05 shall make buildings robot-ready before making them robot-dependent. Initial buildings shall remain constructible, inspectable, maintainable, and repairable by qualified humans using documented procedures and conventional tools.
Robotic readiness shall be incorporated into geometry, interfaces, identities, tolerances, access requirements, assembly states, evidence structures, and lifecycle records from the beginning. This approach shall allow automation to be introduced gradually without requiring fundamental redesign of the building platform.
Robotic speed, productivity, and autonomy shall remain subordinate to human safety, structural integrity, verified physical conditions, authorized engineering instructions, and applicable regulations.
