7. Global Compatibility and Local Production

System05 shall enable components manufactured in different regions to participate in a common compatibility architecture.
Global compatibility shall be established through controlled requirements for:
- Interface geometry.
- Functional behavior.
- Coordinate references.
- Tolerance classes.
- Load-transfer expectations.
- Identity and marking.
- State definition.
- Evidence formats.
- Versioning.
- Safety behavior.
- Installation and inspection access.
Local production may adapt:
- Source materials.
- Internal geometry.
- manufacturing processes.
- equipment.
- labor organization.
- energy sources.
- factory scale.
- surface treatments.
- regional supply chains.
- production scheduling.
- approved Engineering Profiles.
- Local adaptation shall not silently modify requirements that affect global compatibility.
A regional implementation may introduce additional requirements for climate, seismicity, wind, fire, corrosion, moisture, local materials, codes, or workforce capability. Additional requirements shall identify the profile or jurisdiction under which they apply.
Where local materials do not exactly match a reference material, equivalence shall be established through declared properties, engineering analysis, testing, process control, and traceable approval appropriate to consequence.
System05 shall support low-resource regions by providing manufacturing definitions that can be implemented through appropriate levels of equipment and automation. A component shall not require advanced machinery merely to preserve technological uniformity when simpler qualified processes can achieve the necessary result.
Conversely, regional affordability shall not justify reduction of critical requirements without explicit engineering reassessment.
Cross-regional compatibility claims shall identify:
- Applicable Interface version.
- Product and material class.
- Engineering Profile.
- Environmental limits.
- Manufacturing conformance status.
- Required installation conditions.
- Known exclusions.
A globally compatible product need not be globally interchangeable for every application. Compatibility shall always be evaluated against the active building configuration and applicable Engineering Profile.
