86. Assembly Requirements

Assembly Requirements define how Components, Cartridges, Nodes, Interfaces, and temporary supports shall be brought together into the approved configuration.
Each Assembly Requirement shall identify:
involved Entities;
prerequisites;
sequence;
access;
tools;
lifting or robotic equipment;
alignment conditions;
engagement limits;
locking requirements;
temporary supports;
verification hold points;
rejection criteria;
resulting state.

Assembly sequence shall reflect dependencies and intermediate structural stability.
A fastener, lock, seal, or electrical contact shall not be considered complete merely because the Component has reached its nominal final position.
Manual and robotic assembly may use different procedures while producing the same verified final Interface state.
Field deviations shall not be incorporated silently into the As-Built model.
