85. Transportation Requirements

Transportation Requirements define the conditions under which Components and Assemblies may be packaged, lifted, restrained, transported, stored, and delivered.
Each requirement shall define:
transported Entity;
transport orientation;
packaging;
support points;
restraint points;
lifting points;
maximum acceleration;
vibration limit;
impact limit;
temperature and humidity limits;
moisture protection;
stacking limits;
route restrictions;
inspection after transport.

- Transportation loads shall be included where they may govern Component or Connection design.
- Temporary transport bracing shall be represented as Temporary Works.
Delivery condition shall be verified before installation. Damage, excessive moisture, impact, displaced seals, corrupted identity, or unauthorized opening shall generate a hold or rejection state.
