30. Site Representation
Stable section ID: S05-CON-007-SECTION-31 · 48 content blocks
BDL Site Representation shall define the physical, legal, geographic, environmental, infrastructural, and engineering context within which one or more buildings are located.
A Site Entity shall include, as applicable:
Site ID;
legal parcel references;
geographic coordinates;
surveyed boundary;
topography;
elevation datum;
property setbacks;
easements;
access points;
adjacent structures;
existing utilities;
proposed utility connections;
geotechnical zones;
drainage conditions;
flood or environmental zones;
construction staging areas;
transportation access;
applicable Regional Engineering Profiles.
Example:
site Vernon_Site_001 {
id: "s05:site:vernon-001";
coordinate_system: @Site_CS;
boundary: geometry(@Site_Boundary_Model);
elevation_datum: @Survey_Datum_001;
access {
construction_entry: @North_Driveway;
maximum_vehicle_width: 3.2 m;
}
utility_point Electrical_Service {
type: electrical;
status: existing_nearby;
location: [42.6 m, 8.3 m, 0.4 m];
}
}
Legal boundaries and surveyed physical boundaries shall remain distinct where their sources or accuracy differ.
Topography shall identify:
source survey;
survey date;
coordinate system;
surface representation;
accuracy;
known exclusions;
As-Surveyed status.
Subsurface information shall reference evidence such as borings, test pits, geophysical surveys, groundwater observations, or engineering assumptions.
Unknown subsurface conditions shall be represented explicitly and shall not be converted into verified site properties.
Temporary site conditions—including excavation, stored materials, cranes, access restrictions, and construction zones—may be modeled as configuration-specific Entities.
