Stable section ID: S05-CON-007-SECTION-68 · 45 content blocks
Temporary Works shall represent Components, Assemblies, Connections, supports, access systems, and operational restrictions required during construction, maintenance, replacement, emergency stabilization, or decommissioning.
Temporary Works may include:
shoring;
bracing;
scaffolding;
formwork;
lifting frames;
temporary platforms;
construction access;
utility bypasses;
temporary weather protection;
temporary fire protection;
robotic staging systems;
exclusion zones.
Each Temporary Works Entity shall define:
Temporary Works ID;
purpose;
responsible authority;
installation configuration;
supported loads;
supported permanent Components;
Interfaces;
dependencies;
installation sequence;
inspection;
activation condition;
removal condition;
expiration;
current state.
Example:
temporary_support Beam_B01_Shore {
id: "s05:temporary-work:beam-b01-shore";
purpose: support_during_node_replacement;
supports: @Beam_B01;
location: @Grid_A1_Level_01;
capacity: 35 kN;
required_before:
release(@Beam_B01_to_Node_N01);
removal_allowed_after:
verify(@Replacement_Node_Connection.commissioned);
}
Temporary Works shall appear in the active configuration whenever they affect physical state, access, load path, utilities, safety, or robotic operation.
The completed permanent building configuration shall not be assumed stable during intermediate construction states.
Temporary Works removal shall require verification that their function has been transferred to the permanent system.
Expired, missing, overloaded, or uninspected Temporary Works shall generate a configuration error or fault according to criticality.
