53. Cartridge Model

A Cartridge is a bounded, identifiable, replaceable engineering Assembly that performs one or more functions through standardized Interfaces.
Every Cartridge shall define:
Cartridge Type and Instance IDs;
Cartridge classification;
host-side Interfaces;
service-side Interfaces;
internal functional elements;
controlled geometry;
mass and center of gravity;
capabilities;
requirements;
dependencies;
connection protocol;
lifecycle state;
Digital Passport;
inspection and maintenance requirements;
safe-disconnection requirements.
