76. Compatibility Requirements

Compatibility Requirements define the conditions under which two or more Entities may interact safely and correctly.
Compatibility shall be evaluated across:
identity;
Type;
version;
geometry;
tolerances;
materials;
structural capacity;
mechanical engagement;
electrical characteristics;
fluid characteristics;
thermal conditions;
communication protocol;
control authority;
safety behavior;
environmental class;
lifecycle state;
Engineering Profile.
