94. Compilation Target

The Compilation Target defines the intended destination, purpose, lifecycle use, resolution, and required assurance level of the compilation result.
Compilation Targets may include:
conceptual evaluation;
design coordination;
engineering validation;
regulatory submission;
certification assessment;
manufacturing;
procurement;
transportation;
human assembly;
robotic assembly;
inspection;
commissioning;
Building BIOS deployment;
Digital Twin initialization or update;
maintenance;
repair;
replacement;
disassembly;
reuse;
decommissioning.
Every target shall define the information, validation, evidence, approval, integrity, precision, and output-format requirements necessary for its intended use.
A source configuration may be sufficient for one target and insufficient for another. A conceptual model, for example, may support spatial comparison while remaining unsuitable for manufacturing or robotic execution.
Where one request includes multiple targets, each target shall be evaluated independently. Failure of one target shall not invalidate unrelated outputs where their requirements remain satisfied, but no output shall inherit a higher readiness status merely because another target passed.
The target shall identify the relevant physical or digital execution environment, including supported interface versions, manufacturing systems, robotic systems, Building BIOS versions, Digital Twin schemas, inspection tools, and regulatory submission formats.
Target transformations shall not weaken or reinterpret the canonical engineering meaning. Where a target requires simplification, discretization, approximation, or information loss, the transformation and its consequences shall be declared.
No executable target shall be released until every mandatory target-specific compilation gate has passed and required approvals have been verified.
