73. Utility Network Graph

The Utility Network Graph represents the topology and operational relationships of building service systems.
It may include:
electrical power;
communication and data;
water supply;
drainage;
gas;
heating and cooling fluids;
ventilation;
fire-suppression systems;
vacuum or specialized services;
sensor and control networks.
Network entities may include sources, consumers, conductors, pipes, ducts, junctions, valves, switches, protective devices, interfaces, meters, sensors, and isolation points.
Relationships shall represent direction, capacity, continuity, branching, dependency, protection, isolation, control, and permitted flow.
Different utility domains shall retain their own physical and engineering semantics. An electrical circuit, drainage network, data network, and ventilation system shall not be reduced to identical generic behavior.
The compiler shall evaluate continuity, capacity, incompatible connections, required isolation, access, redundancy, protection, routing, commissioning, and lifecycle serviceability.
Utility states during construction, emergency operation, maintenance, or partial shutdown may differ from normal operational states and shall be represented where significant.
Cross-domain hazards—including water near electrical systems, heat near sensitive data equipment, or utility routing through structural and fire boundaries—shall be evaluated through coordinated rules.
