81. Coordinate Transformation Engine

The Coordinate Transformation Engine resolves and applies relationships among geographic, site, building, assembly, component, manufacturing, robotic, survey, and sensor coordinate systems.
Every transformation shall identify:
source and target coordinate systems;
transformation method;
translation and rotation;
scale where permitted;
axis conventions;
handedness;
datum;
precision;
uncertainty;
source;
validity period;
- applicable spatial range.
- Transformation chains shall remain traceable.
The engine shall detect missing transformations, ambiguous paths, inconsistent cycles, unit mismatches, reversed axes, unsupported scaling, precision loss, and transformations outside their valid scope.
Where multiple transformation paths exist, the compiler shall compare them and apply declared authority rules. Material discrepancies shall be reported.
Time-dependent transformations may be required for moving robots, temporary work cells, settlement, deformation, thermal movement, or updated surveys.
Approximate transformations may support visualization or planning but shall not support precision manufacturing or robotic execution unless their accuracy satisfies the target requirements.
Robotic execution packages shall require verified alignment between the compiled engineering coordinate system and the active robotic reference frame.
