69. Structural Topology Graph

The Structural Topology Graph represents how structural actions are transferred through the building.
Its entities may include:
foundations;
structural members;
panels;
braces;
nodes;
cartridges;
connections;
supports;
diaphragms;
load-resisting assemblies;
temporary structural systems.
Relationships shall describe support, restraint, continuity, transfer, connection, release, load direction, and permitted movement.
The graph shall support evaluation of the System05 load path:
Member → Cartridge → Node → Cartridge → Member
The Structural Topology Graph shall represent intended load paths, alternative load paths, temporary load paths, discontinuities, redundancy, and controlled failure hierarchy.
Topology alone does not establish capacity. The graph shall be combined with geometry, material properties, connection behavior, loads, engineering methods, and evidence.
Construction, transportation, lifting, repair, damage, and decommissioning states may produce topology different from the final operational configuration. Safety-significant intermediate topologies shall be evaluated separately.
The compiler shall detect unsupported entities, disconnected load paths, unintended mechanisms, incompatible releases, missing restraints, and modifications that invalidate structural assumptions.
Where System05 requirements establish that cartridges or other replaceable elements should fail before protected nodes or members, the graph shall support verification of that hierarchy.
