67. Engineering Entity Graph

The Engineering Entity Graph represents the building and its associated information as identifiable entities connected through formally typed relationships.
Entities may include:
buildings;
sites;
spaces;
zones;
systems;
assemblies;
members;
System05 nodes;
cartridges;
interfaces;
components;
materials;
utilities;
sensors;
robots;
manufacturing resources;
evidence objects;
certifications;
rules;
lifecycle records.
Graph relationships may express containment, connection, support, dependency, composition, location, ownership, certification, observation, replacement, or derivation.
A graph vertex representing a System05 Node shall remain distinguishable from the general graph-theory use of the term “node.”
Every entity and relationship shall possess a stable identity, type, source, applicable configuration, and lifecycle context.
The Entity Graph shall support traversal from any physical or digital object to its governing definition, connected entities, evidence, rules, approvals, and generated outputs.
Unresolved, conflicting, proposed, historical, and inactive entities shall remain distinguishable from active resolved entities.
The Engineering Entity Graph provides the common relational foundation from which specialized graphs may be derived without forcing all engineering relationships into one undifferentiated structure.
