93. Compilation Request

A Compilation Request is the formal instruction to the Engineering Compiler to process an identified set of engineering sources for one or more declared purposes.

Every Compilation Request shall identify:

request identity;

requesting person, organization, system, or authorized agent;

compilation subject;

source package or source references;

requested Compilation Target;

applicable project and building identities;

intended lifecycle stage;

requested validation level;

required profiles and jurisdictions;

required outputs;

permitted assumptions;

security classification;

urgency and execution priority;

authorization and approval context.

A Compilation Request may concern a complete building, selected system, assembly, node, cartridge, interface, utility network, manufacturing package, proposed modification, lifecycle event, or comparison between configurations.

The request shall distinguish analytical, advisory, validation, approval-support, release, and execution purposes. A request for conceptual analysis shall not be interpreted as authorization to produce field-executable or operational outputs.

The compiler shall validate that the requester is authorized to access the identified sources and request the intended output class. Authorization to submit a compilation shall not automatically grant authority to approve, sign, release, manufacture, install, commission, or activate the results.

Missing, contradictory, or unauthorized request parameters shall produce explicit diagnostics. Defaults may be applied only where permitted by the applicable compilation policy and shall remain visible in the Compilation Record.

Every accepted Compilation Request shall receive a stable identity and timestamp. Subsequent retries, amendments, derived requests, and target-specific compilations shall remain linked to the originating request.
