86. Evidence Evaluation Engine

The Evidence Evaluation Engine determines whether available evidence is applicable, valid, sufficient, independent, and authoritative for the engineering claims it is intended to support.
Evaluation shall consider:
evidence identity;
integrity;
source;
method;
scope;
subject;
configuration;
version;
environmental conditions;
uncertainty;
validity period;
independence;
authority;
lifecycle state;
- consequence of failure.
- The engine shall distinguish evidence presence from evidence sufficiency.
Evidence generated for one component, batch, process, interface version, or use condition shall not be extended to another without an authorized basis.
Conflicting evidence shall be identified and linked to the affected claims.
Evidence hierarchies and minimum requirements shall be defined by applicable regulatory, certification, engineering, and project profiles.
The engine may classify a claim as supported, conditionally supported, insufficiently supported, contradicted, expired, revoked, or not evaluated.
Statistical confidence, AI assessment, or accumulated informal observations shall not substitute for required testing, inspection, certification, or professional approval.
Evidence evaluation results shall remain linked to the Rule Evaluation Graph and final compilation status.
